Puro Latino: the crazy GSX wizard

Puro Latino is a garage in Reggio Emilia run by a crazy artist (Lowwriter)who transforms Suzuki GSX of the last two decades into dragbikes, and it does it only for riders that he believes they deserve it. He is also the builder on the Inazuma Randagia which we featured at Inazuma cafe some time ago .Here we have his GSX750F, which suddenly becomes an attractive racing ride, and his GSXR drag ready for racing.

Puro Latino è un garage di Reggio Emilia diretto da un artista pazzo (Lowwriter) che trasforma Suzuki GSX dell'ultimo ventennio in dragbikes da sparo, e lo fa solo per motociclisti che lui ritiene lo possano meritare. Lowwriter è anche l'autore dell'Inazuma Randagia, una drag che Inazuma Cafè ha pubblicato qualche tempo fa. Ecco una sua GSX750F, che improvvisamente diventa bella anche da guardare, ed una GSXR da gara.

Laverda 750S by Zio Marco

This beautiful (and rare) Laverda 750S built by Unique Cycle Work, on stage at Gran Ferro last Sunday, is the last release of Zio Marco (Uncle Mark). The readers of Inazuma Cafe already know Zio Marco for having been one of the founders of South Garage Cafe and the builder of award winner sophisticated cafe racers such as the Ducati Permalosa and Old speed (both visible at Gran Ferro as well). This bike, which cost several hours of work and with a brand new revised mechanic is looking for a owner... Think about it.

Questa bella (e rara) Laverda 750S costruita da Unique Cycle Work, in scena al Gran Ferro domenica scorsa, è l'ultima realizzazione dello Zio Marco. I lettori dell'Inazuma Cafe conoscono già lo Zio Marco per essere stato uno dei fondatori del South Garage Cafe nonché il costruttore di pluripremiate sofisticate cafe racers come le Ducati Permalosa e Old Speed (entrambe in mostra al Gran Ferro). Questa moto, che è costata diverse ore di lavoro e dotata di nuova meccanica interamente rivista è alla ricerca di un proprietario ... Pensateci.

M for "Madunnassa" by Anvil

"Madunassa" is the name given to this bike by its builders Marco and Phonz and it's an expression in Northern Italian slang which cannot be properly translated into English... However, with a certain approximation, I could say that the meaning is, more or less, "Oh my God", which is -at the end of the day- what you feel like saying when you see this excellent dark Dominator 650cc, the last born in Anvil Motociclette. It has been shown for the very first time at Gran Ferro last Sunday, and shot by Inazuma Cafe for its readers.

"Madunassa" è il nome che i realizzatori Marco e Phonz hanno dato a questa bella Dominator 650 cc, resa dark e profondamente customizzata, ed è quel che più o meno ti viene voglia di dire quando la vedi. E' l'ultima nata in Anvil Motociclette ed è stata presentata per la prima volta al Gran Ferro domenica scorsa... E fotografata dall'Inazuma Cafe per i suoi lettori.

Probably our friend Andrea Fontana, a.k.a. “The Captain” of Royal McQueen in Bologna, has been too busy with his new tattoo studio, but we have been waiting too much before seeing a new special from him. Here it is, finally, a 2009 Royal Enfield Electra EFI 500 cc, light and skinny, ready to run through the streets of Bologna ... Or of the world? We'll see ... For now, mahalo to Andrea for sending the nice photos to the Inazuma cafe!

Sarà che il nostro amico Andrea Fontana (Royal McQueen), detto il Capitano, è troppo preso con il suo nuovo tattoo studio, ma era un bel po’ che ci faceva aspettare una nuova special. Eccola, una Royal Enfield Electra 500 EFI del 2009, alleggerita all’osso e pronta per correre per le strade di Bologna… O del mondo? Vedremo… per ora, mahalo per le belle foto!

Il prossimo 2 giugno, Sua Maestà la Regina Elisabetta II festeggia i 60 anni dalla sua incoronazione. Mattia Foroni del Centro Moto Lodi, in arte Fofo86handmade ,celebra questa ricorrenza con questa Triumph Thruxton del 2012: la Queen Elizabeth Coronation. Curiosi? Leggete il resto allora.

The fact he used a new donor bike makes me puzzled. But probably a tribute to the Queen would have been inadequate using an old Bonnie, a carburetors one... Or even His Highness, however, would have welcome a restoration of a vintage item… Who knows. The fact is that this hardtail is custom made with care, with several handcrafted components and with the peculiarity of the bodywork decorated with the technique of decoupage, using original newspaper of June 3, 1953, the Daily News and the New Chronicle, from which pictures and articles about the coronation of the Queen Elizabeth have been cut out. The whole thing has been finished with 7 coats of matt transparent paint. 

Desta perplessità al sottoscritto il fatto che sia stata utilizzata una moto nuova. Ma probabilmente un omaggio alla Regina sarebbe stato inadeguato utilizzando una vecchia Bonnie, magari a carburatori… Oppure Sua Altezza avrebbe comunque gradito il recupero di un oggetto vintage? Chi può dirlo. Sta di fatto che questa Triumph, resa rigida, è una custom realizzata con cura, con una molteplicità di componenti artigianali fatte a mano e con la particolarità di aver rivestito con la tecnica del decoupage i parafanghi e il serbatoio utilizzando quotidiani originali del 3 giugno 1953, il Daily News e il New Chronicle, da cui sono state ritagliate immagini e articoli relativi all’incoronazione ufficiale della Regina Elisabetta. Il tutto è stato rifinito con ben 7 strati di trasparente opaco.
