Awesome retro special based on a 1972 CB750 Four, introduced in Verona by RAD Magazine during the last Motor Bike Expo. Shot by and for Inazuma Cafe.

Probably some of the best news introduced at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, these motorcycles are simple, elegant, light and... street legal.

They are built by Moto di Ferro (transl: Iron Bikes) in Mogliano Veneto starting from brand new Kawasaki W800's and are covered by a regular two year guarantee. The designer, Marco Lugato, told me that he is considering to eventually sell kits for the transformation of the stock W800/W650, but the work performed on the bikes is not for everyone because the nice alloy parts cannot be simply slipped on the frame. To me, these bikes have just two inconveniences: the price and the 7 liter fuel carried by the slim and pretty tanks, enough for only 100 km journey. But if you want to look pretty, you gotta endure the pain!

Probabilmente tra le migliori novità presentate al Motor Bike Expo di Verona. Queste moto sono semplici, eleganti, leggere e... omologate. Sono state realizzate da Moto di Ferro a Mogliano Veneto (ma le trovate anche a Milano) partendo da Kawasaki W800 nuove di fabbrica e sono coperte da una regolare garanzia di due anni. Il designer, Marco Lugato, mi ha detto che sta valutando di vendere in futuro kit per la trasformazione delle W800/W650 di serie, ma il lavoro da eseguire sulle moto non è per tutti perché le belle componenti di alluminio non possono essere semplicemente installate sul telaio originale. A mio avviso, queste moto quasi perfette hanno solo due inconvenienti: il prezzo e i soli sette litri di capienza degli splendidi serbatoi, sufficienti per soli 100 km circa. Ma se belli si vuole apparire, un pochino bisogna soffrire!

Sparta is the name given to the latest release by Brittway Garage in Rome, built by Fabrizio Bonfigli starting from a Triumph Speedmaster. It's a "warrior cruiser" inspired by the Zack Snyder's movie "300". We can discuss a long if this bike is innovative, kitsch or insane... But I hope we all agree that the model Nina Aprodu is really beautiful.

Sparta è il nome dell'ultima realizzazione del Brittway Garage di Roma, costruita da Fabrizio Bonfigli sulla base di una Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster. Una cruiser guerriera ispirata dal film "300" di Zack Sneyder. Possiamo discutere a lungo se questa moto è innovativa, kitsch o folle... Ma spero siamo tutti d'accordo che la modella Nina Aprodu è davvero bellissima.

No Martini no party (again)

During the days of the Motor Bike Expo in Verona it's now customary to join Mr. Martini's annual party at his awesome garage in Via Tombetta. This year, guests have been required to contribute with a small amount to a Charity initiative. Such a good idea to match the great fun of the party with something really useful. Have a look at the pictures of the party on Mr. Martini website: every single guest was portrayed in the Nicola's classic London Cab at the entrance. If you missed the party, you are still in time to join the ABEO initiative.

Durante i giorni del Motor Bike Expo di Verona è ormai consuetudine unirsi alla festa annuale di Mr. Martini nel suo straordinario garage di Via Tombetta. Quest'anno, agli ospiti è stato chiesto di contribuire con una piccola somma a una iniziativa benefica. Un'ottima idea per abbinare il grande divertimento della manifestazione con qualcosa di veramente utile. Date un'occhiata alle foto della festa sul sito di Mr. Martini.
