These are the pictures that you will hardly find on the official website, sponsors or organizers of the event. This is because I selected them from the web, surfing my favorite facebook pages, regardless the fact that the authors were credited as special guests or not. I chose the pics I liked. That's it. Honestly, I would have liked to be of the party, but once I received an invitation from a friend, and my confirmation was erased from the facebook page of the event, then I thought it wasn't worth investing my time and money in it. Why it happend? Perhaps Inazuma Cafe wasn't recognized as a friend, or even a third millennium bike like mine would have thought inappropriate... Whatever it was the reason of the deletion, I have to admit I minded a little. But it's not a big deal, indeed: for personal reasons I wouldn't have been able to go there anyway. May be next year, assuming a better understanding of the respective philosophies... As far as I'm concerned, wheels and waves is, and remains, an extraordinary event for all of us who love classic and special motorcycles.

Questo perché le ho selezionate dal web, navigando le mie pagine facebook preferite, a prescindere del fatto che gli autori siano o meno stati accreditati come special guests. Ho scelto le foto che mi piacevano. Tutto qui. Onestamente, mi sarebbe piaciuto essere della partita, ma una volta ricevuto l'invito da un amico, e la mia conferma è stata poi cancellata dalla pagina facebook dell'evento, ho pensato che non valeva la pena di investire il mio tempo e denaro nell'impresa. Perché è successo? Forse Inazuma Cafe non è riconosciuto come un sito amico, oppure una moto del terzo millennio come la mia sarebbe stata considerata inadeguata... Qualunque sia stata la ragione della cancellazione, devo ammettere che mi è dispiaciuto un po'. Ma non è un grosso problema, anzi: per motivi personali non sarei stato in grado di andare comunque. Può darsi l'anno prossimo, assumendo una migliore comprensione delle rispettive filosofie... Per quanto mi riguarda, Wheels and Waves è, e rimane, un evento straordinario per tutti noi che amiamo la moto classiche e speciali.
